Your upgrade season
It is so important to have a season mentality because trouble don’t last always. Weeping may endure for a night but Joy is going to come in the morning. A season mentality helps you to seek God more and then when hell breaks loose in your life you won’t be going crazy and being overwhelmed. Why? because it’s just a season.
If you’re going through something ladies, I am here to reassure you that it is just a season. If things were always good, where is the growth? If things were always good, where would your testimony be? What lessons would you learn?
Where would your breakthrough steam from? Yes the devil gets busy in our lives but have you ever took a second to realize that the devil is God’s devil. A lot of times we can give the devil to much credit not realizing that sometimes God will allow the devil to be a part of the formation process that produces a version of you that your destiny needs.
Can you go through a season of a storm in order to get to your upgrade season? It’s easy to detect God in a blessing but can you detect him in a difficult situation. It’s easy to see how God is aligning everything when he’s blessing you but can you trust him even when you can’t trace him? Even when you can’t trace his hand or his movements.
We must remember that in every dark season there is light somewhere lurking. In Genesis 1:1-2 the scripture says, In the beginning. God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep,and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
This tells me that even when there is darkness and you can’t see it or see your way out I want you to know the spirit of God is hovering. The presence of a storm does not mean the absence of God. It may be dark right now but he does miraculous works in the dark.
Even when you can’t trace his hand. Even when it feels like ends won’t meet. Even when all hell is breaking lose. Even if you don’t see or feel like there is no way out. You may be in a dark season but the spirit of God is hovering. He’s close. He’s right there with you.
